The Czech Philharmonic Foundation was
established in August 2023 by music lovers and
friends of the Czech Philharmonic — Hana
Dvořáková, Jiří Hašek, and Pavel Kysilka.

Inspired by the centuries-old tradition of Czech classical music
and aware of music's importance for education and the cultural enrichment of Czech society, as well as the Czech Philharmonic’s potential to serve as a world-class ambassador for Czech culture abroad, the founders — following the example of leading international orchestras and philanthropic traditions — decided to establish a foundation as a lasting institution that will provide long-term and comprehensive support for:
The artistic and organizational development of the Czech Philharmonic and the organizations within its community
Young musicians, composers, and conductors
Initiatives that serve music in general, with special focus on Czech music and its tradition in the world
The preservation of the legacy of individuals who have contributed to the Czech Philharmonic
The cultivation of a love for music among the public, especially among children and young people
